Nyack High School

The curriculum for this course is focused on the thematic topics in Spanish 3 with expanded vocabulary and more complex reading and writing assignments. Students will be required to read a series of literary excerpts and passages, authentic readings from magazines, newspapers and books. Writing assignments will require analysis of the readings and interpretation of additional vocabulary. Students will be expected to speak only Spanish in this course. This course is designed for students who plan to study upper levels of Spanish. All students must take the FLACS Checkpoint B-Spanish examination in June.
