ExploraVision is a science competition that encourages K-12 students of all interest, skill and ability levels to create and explore a vision of future technology by combining their imaginations with the tools of science. All inventions and innovations result from creative thinking and problem solving. The first prize consists of a $10,000 US Savings Bond for each student on the winning team. The second prize consists of a $5,000 US Savings Bond for each student on the winning team.

Designed to increase student’s experience in STEM-related fields this free competition encourages 6th-9th grade students to use the scientific method/inquiry or engineering design process to solve real-world challenges. Students can win on a state, regional, and national level, with students on national winning teams receiving $5,000 in U.S. EE Savings Bonds, valued at maturity.

This online science competition is open to students between the ages of 13 and 18 from anywhere in the world, working alone or in teams. Google is looking for extraordinary ideas, and they are eager to see what youth come up with. This is a great opportunity for teenagers to explore ideas they’re passionate about, learn about science, and maybe produce a world-changing idea.

To identify and reward high school students whose scientific skill and talent indicate potential for scientific contributions in the field of neuroscience.  Four winners will each receive a $1,000 prize. Three winners and their teachers will receive airfare, two nights hotel, $100 per day for expenses (up to two days), and the opportunity to present their work during a scientific poster session at the AAN 70th Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, CA — the world’s largest gathering of neurologists. One winner and his/her teacher will receive airfare, three nights hotel, a daily per diem (up to three days), and the opportunity to present his/her work at the 2018 Child Neurology Society Annual Meeting.

In this competition, students and their coaches or mentors build robots based on sound engineering principles and design them to battle robots built by other competitors. A kit is provided for those who want to use one. Competitions are held around the country, and awards are given based on robot design, performance, community outreach, and other accomplishments. The winners of these competitions proceed to the competition's World Championship.
