Welcome to the Nyack High School Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) Department! Our courses provide students with practical life skills, career exploration opportunities, and hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for success both in and beyond the classroom.

Through engaging coursework in nutrition, food preparation, child development, psychology, independent living, and personal responsibility, students develop the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions, build healthy lifestyles, and navigate real-world challenges.
