Bell Schedule 2009-2010

Congratulations to Ben Grange for being selected by the United States Department of Education as a candidate for the Presidential Scholars Program. Each year 3,000 candidates are identified based on their SAT or ACT scores. From that pool, 500 semifinalists are identified after going through an application process. In April, the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars will select up to 121 Academic Scholars who will be invited to Washington for a special ceremony sponsored by the White House.

Congratulations to Nyack High School's Academic League's for their victory on News 12 The Challenge on November 17th. They defeated Hendrick Hudson High School in Round 1 and the score was 300 to 260. Team members are Suzannah Buck, Ben Grange, Matt Picardi and Alex Satawa. Ravi Vaidya is the alternate.

This episode will be aired on MSG Varsity, Channel 14 on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 6:30 pm. The Challenge can be viewed Sunday through Friday at 6:30 pm. Each night catch high schools competing from the tri-state area.
